Metric scope

Supply counts published, publicly verified, non-demo sites. Reported IT MW can include planned capacity and does not mean capacity available now. Generation GW is tracked electrical capacity across live, construction and development records with disclosed capacity, not IT capacity or grid headroom. Network objects are not available grid capacity. Demand MW is a different measure. Source and methodology

Go further with PowerlandMap

Across the workspace, compare site stage, capacity basis and timing; examine surrounding power infrastructure and market demand; use electricity benchmarks and CAPEX/OPEX tools; and trace sourced changes. These are platform capabilities, not findings about this public selection.

Beyond this selection, PowerlandMap tracks 6,036 sites across 154 countries — published, publicly verified, non-demo supply. See live coverage

Common questions

Before you request access

Does coverage include every site?

No. Published totals describe monitored, publicly verified supply, not a complete census. Coverage and verification vary by market; check the evidence and methodology before relying on a shortlist.

How current are records?

Aggregate calculation and database update times appear with the coverage figures. Individual records carry their own source and verification dates, which can differ.

Is IT MW the same as electrical or demand MW?

No. Reported IT MW may include planned capacity. Modelled IT capacity is separate. Electrical MW and buyer demand MW are different measures and do not establish available capacity.

When does paid access begin?

Applications are vetted. Professional access activates only after confirmed payment, not just checkout. Team Intelligence and Enterprise are quoted on an order form.

How many seats and what commitment?

Professional: one named user and an initial three-month commitment, then monthly. Team Intelligence: up to five users; Enterprise: up to fifteen. Both have a twelve-month commitment. The accepted plan or order form governs.

Can I export or redistribute data?

Standard access is for named accounts and internal analysis. Bulk extraction, redistribution and reuse outside the platform require express written permission under the Terms. Custom delivery depends on its signed order form.

Capacity bases, verification and limits are explained in the methodology and the coverage page. One-off research editions, each with a free 3-page research sample, are in the Market Study catalogue
