Data policy

The public website shows only anonymised aggregates computed live from the production database — counts, capacity sums and country breakdowns. Record-level detail is reserved for the terminal, where each record carries its sources, an observation date, a last-verified date and a confidence level, as described in the methodology

• Sourced IT MW is capacity supported by at least one named, dated source held on the record
• Estimated IT MW is a directional analyst estimate, always labelled as such, never mixed into sourced figures and never equivalent to contracted or deliverable capacity
• Where capacity is unknown, records say "Not quantified" rather than showing zero
• Public MW figures are rounded up to whole megawatts and never displayed with an approximation symbol

• Demand is published only as anonymised, aggregated signals — never as identifiable requirements
• Confidential mandate information is never published, whatever its origin
• Contributor inputs are aggregated into classifications and never republished verbatim or attributed
• Counterparties, clients and private processes are never disclosed
• Transaction values and €/MW appear only where publicly disclosed

The public demonstration workspace runs entirely on fictional records that are permanently marked as demo data. It is read-only and isolated from production, subscriber, partner and administrative data

If you believe a record about a project or company you represent is inaccurate, or that published information should not be public, write to matthieu@powerlandmap.com with the record concerned and any supporting evidence. Substantiated corrections are applied with a dated changelog entry; contested records are flagged while under review

Public aggregates may be cited with attribution to Powerland Map. Systematic extraction, scraping or redistribution of any part of the database is not permitted, as set out in the terms of use
