Global Data Center Capacity Availability
Teams looking for colocation capacity rarely lack options on paper. The difficulty is knowing which of those options are real, how much capacity they represent, and when it can be occupied. Operator websites mix halls that are ready today with campuses that are still being designed, and the same word, available, can describe both.
The buyer problem
A procurement or expansion team needs to decide which operators to approach first. That requires separating capacity that can be occupied now from capacity that will exist later, identifying offers that give no quantity at all, and removing capacity that is already contracted.
Research scope
- Selected markets across North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia-Pacific
- Evidence from operator pages, investor documents and public filings, each with its access date
- Every figure kept on its own basis: IT MW, electrical MW or MVA
What the full study delivers
- A facility and campus inventory with current and future status
- Evidence dates and source links for every figure
- A register of contradictions and exclusions
- Questions to put to each operator before shortlisting
This preview does not guarantee that any capacity is vacant. Availability must be confirmed directly with each operator.
